Job details

Role Objective

Undertake all switching operations related to repair, maintenance, modification, and testing and ensure the faulty network is isolated or network maneuvering is carried out taking into consideration ADDC safety standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  1. Growth & Sustainability related:

    • Execute all assigned tasks efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner
    • Report on the overall performance and work progress of tasks assigned
  2. Customer related:

    • Execute all customer facing transactions in line with ADDC customer strategy resulting in higher satisfaction and timely delivery of services
    • Address customer needs, problems, and requests in a timely manner
    • Ensure the delivery of a world-class customer experience
    • Support the customer-focused culture minimizing disruption to impacted customers ensuring customers are kept informed
  3. Operational Excellence related:

    • Execute activities required to meet the day-to-day switching operational duties, arranges for necessary staff to carry out procedures and monitors achievement
    • Execute shutdown, isolation, energization of LV network assets to meet the requirements of operations, maintenance, capital projects, and any other valid business requirement
    • ...

Performance Driven Organization related

Acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs. In addition to the above, the incumbent shall also perform all other duties assigned by line manager.

Technical

  • Demand Forecasting - Intermediate
  • Electricity Network Operations - Intermediate
  • Maintenance Forecasting & Planning - Intermediate
  • Maintenance Plan Execution - Intermediate

Qualifications & Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years
