About the Role: As the Senior Business Technology Manager / Chief Information Officer, you'll be in the driver's seat, leading the operational and strategic management of IT Services and enterprise-level technology solutions. Your role will be pivotal in achieving their Customer Division's purpose to connect brand, data, and technology to to fulfil customers’ needs for meaningful, innovative, and sustainable experiences. You will bring enthusiasm about artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, with a strong interest in exploring and contributing to this dynamic field, embracing opportunities for growth and innovation. What will you be doing?
- You will provide clear strategic direction and leadership across all BT operations, ensuring alignment with wider Toyota NZ business objectives.
- Uplifting the digital landscape by leading and providing direction across all BT/Digital facets, including Infrastructure & Operations, Security & Risk, Service Planning & Architecture, Apps, Project and Portfolio Management, Data & BI. , and more!
- You will be delivering major work programs along with overseeing BAU operations, including providing support & direction to ensure excellence in execution.
- Experience as a Senior IT/Digital Manager, or Head of Technology, leading large, complex teams.
- Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Management.
- The ability to influence senior management, guide them through the digital transformation story and drive organisational effectiveness.
- The ability to understand change and drive strategic initiatives across multiple departments, all while keeping Toyota NZ’s core focus in mind.
- The emotional intelligence to navigate smoothly through relationships, connect with key stakeholders through exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively across a range of crucial and competing priorities
