Job details

  • Books AP invoices related to raw material, trading goods and packaging.
  • Updates Landed cost of purchased goods.
  • Creates and updates inventory and fixed assets items.
  • Records AP Invoices related to Assets purchased or Assets under construction.
  • Reconciles the assets under construction projects end of each month and reviews the status (closed/open) with the Site Manager.
  • Reconciles the Fixed assets report to the General Ledger.
  • Issues the debit notes related to affiliated companies.
  • Issues Debit and Credit notes to subsidiaries when applicable.
  • Controls all the transitory accounts ensuring a zero balance.
  • Performs Inventory counting and executes the posting in SAP.
  • Prepares VAT tax declaration and withholding tax.
  • Reconciles tax due to customs.
  • Reviews all the daily transactions performed by the accountant.
  • Prepares the monthly commission for the sales team.
  • Follows up on collection by sending bad debts file on weekly basis.
  • Creates Business partners in SAP, ensuring all the legal documents are provided.
  • Prepares Cash flow on monthly and yearly basis.
  • Trains newly appointed team members in the accounting department.
  • Prepares and handles anticorruption report.
  • Reviews all the payments (checks and transfers) prepared before releasing for signature.
  • Reviews the cash and bank reconciliations.
  • Reviews the Main Receipt Template.
  • Prepares and reports the weekly sales report.
  • Prepares and reports the sales and GM report on 10th, 20th and end of the month.
  • Prepares the sales performance report (actual sales and collection vs target).
  • Provides and assists the auditors with all required documents.
  • Prepares and controls all the reports extracted from SAP during closing of the month.
  • Reports in Magnitude the RM, RF, BM, COMRM and TRESO packages.
  • Provides the management with ad hoc reports upon their request
  • BA in Accounting or equivalence. Masters degree is a plus.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good command of the Arabic and English languages.
  • Good command of computer skills and accounting systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cope with stress and meet tight deadlines.
