Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeePrimary Responsibilities • Contribute to the development of team’s business plan in order to maximize productivity and performance • Assist in process design, development, implementation related to finance tasks •Ensure all processes conducted are documented in a standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion • Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems and procedures • Comply on provided legislations, industry codes, company policies and procedures •Establish and maintain an efficient, effective relationship between Local Finance and GSSC Finance staff, with a particular emphasis on processing of Invoices and Payment requests as agreed. • Work with stakeholders to maximize opportunities, minimize expenses and achieve operational and service targets •Ensure the services are delivered as per SLA and maintain quality work consistently • Ensure process controls are in place and working effectively • Daily review of all processed invoices and workings required by the local business. • Monthly completion and review of Accruals for the month-end. • Completes AP Clearing Account Reconciliation processes every month. • Proper handling of HCPI data encountered in the performance of the processes • Generate process improvements covering for both FTE saves or increase efficiency • Support ad hoc requests in addition to primary responsibilities •Provide technical expertise and mentoring to Finance Services Analyst or Specialist • Support others in the team to assist in the achievement of their objectives • Reviews Analysts or Specialists’ outputs • Manage resources including coaching and other administrative works related to the resources. Required Education • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Required Experience • 4 years relevant experience Preferred Competencies/Skills • Ability to use multiple resources to gather and analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems • Ability to collaborate with people at different levels within the organization to accomplish a common goal • Excellent Microsoft Office skills • Efficiently and appropriately delegate tasks to ensure timely goal achievement • Effective tactical planning skills and time management • Ability to work on a local and global team • Excellent communication skills • Strong stakeholder management skills • Strong presentation skills • Strong problem solving and analytical skills Preferred Experience • Preference for work experience in a shared service environment Preferred Knowledge • Advanced knowledge of Accounting principles and practices relating to Accounts Payables and Settlements • Advanced working knowledge of financial processes, procedures, solutions and best practices • High degree of working knowledge of IT controls and safeguards of the collection, organization, structure, processing and delivery of data • Comprehensive knowledge of Performance Metrics Utilization QBE Cultural DNA • Everything we do at QBE is underpinned by our DNA (which interlinks seven cultural elements) – because we know it's not just what we do that matters, it's how we do it that makes the difference.
