National Sales Manager - Spice, Food, Meat Processing 2024-03-15 - 2024-04-14 Permanent PS010211 Sales and Marketing A well known and established meat and food processing company requires the above to manage and drive a sales team as well as oversee all their senior key accounts for the company within the spice, food and meat processing industry on a national basis. Minimum requirements for the role:
- A tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience having worked in a sales management and or senior key accounts management role working within the food, spice or meat processing, packaging or equipment manufacturing industries is essential.
- Previous experience having negotiated and dealt with customers at a very senior level.
- Previous experience having called on food and or meat processing and or related manufacturers is preferred.
- Managing and maintaining all senior client portfolios and business projects on a national basis.
- Lead and motivate a sales team ensuring that targets and budgets as well as forecasting stock projections for clients are handled effectively on a national basis.
- Compiling and presenting business and sales strategies and results that are aligned to the board.
- Managing and entertaining the group's blue chip clients as well as developing their business and driving the sales team on a national basis.
- Work alongside production and technical teams regarding new developments and products to introduce to the market.
- Managing and overseeing all new contracts and pricing structures for the company.
- Optimising and selectively implementing new products in order to maximise profit.
- Attending all required key account events nationally.
