1. Partner closely with the founders to define your vision and roadmap by thoroughly understanding your customers’ needs
2. Manage subcontractor engineering activities
3. Build products, systems, and services that have an immediate impact on our customers
4. Build a worldclass team by hiring exceptional talent, coaching and developing engineers, cultivating pragmatic engineering decisionmaking, and leveraging your technical expertise to constantly raise the bar
5. Lead and participate in critical technical, design, product and partnership discussions
6. Foster ownership, inclusiveness, accountability, pragmatism, and urgency in the team
7. Develop security strategies, processes, controls on code and data access
8. Strategize & execute policies on how code should written, tested and checked in with traceability
9. Actively lead the Agile development processes, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives, within cross-functional teams
10. Able to define gaps in the technology, security, processes and tools and make decisions on how to address them
11. Lead all tech discussions with external parties

• At least 12 years of working experience in fullcycle software development
• At least 2 years of leading teams of engineers, in both a technical and people management capacity, ideally with remote and distributed teams
• Experience in building products grounds up or leading team to build products grounds up
• 5+ years working with fullstack progressive cloud technologies: React, Node.js and AWS
• Hands-on coding experience
• Experiences working in Fintech/ Ecommerce companies
• Able to document platform, architecture and processes for teams to follow
• Experience working with financial technology, with a deep understanding of digital payment technologies
• Ability to lead with a people-first approach and empathetic to conflicting opinions
• Ability to build strong relationships with counterparts, both internally and externally, including compliance, legal, operations, and customer support
• Track record excelling at finding and engaging worldclass engineering talent to foster a highly functional, collaborative, and inclusive environment
• Knowledge of machine learning technology is highly desirable
