• Minimum total 6-8 years of ABAP development in SAP MDG 1909 (or higher version appreciated) by proven expertise (reference letters from former clients are helpful)
• Application development.
• Hands on BRF+ rules, MDGIMG and Flexible Framework configuration.
• Agile Methodology principles.
• Help to implement Agile engineering best practices such as continuous improvement, dual track of run/operations and innovation, automation of testing and delivery, and continuous peer review within teams.
• Participate in Sprint planning, backlog refinement, execution, retrospectives, and other key ceremonies (for instance Daily Stand Ups)
• Develop user stories and critical test scenarios for major configurable variances.
• Primary Technical design for BRF+ business rules integrated with SAP MDG.
• Implementation and enhancement of MDG Change Requests, BRF+, Interfaces and WRICEFs for BP (both Customer and Supplier Master Data) from the technical requirements. Minimum is BP. Desired is BP, MM and Finance.
• Strong SAP ABAP Expertise – Function Modules, Business Objects, Classes, IDOCs, BADIs
• Mandatory experience of ABAP Object Oriented Programming, MDG, ABAP FPM, ABAP Web Dynpro, ABAP Workflow.
• Primary technical design for MDG Data Model (BP, OG and Material) / Governance Scope for BP Customer, Supplier, Finance and Material.
• Design, build and configure MDG application to meet business process and application requirements.
• Development and Implementation experience of BADI's, classes & methods. SOA, ALE/DOCS.
• Cross domain experience desirable (developments in all MDG-domains is preferred, means in BP, in MM and in Finance)
• Strong knowledge of general SAP modules/domains, including Material, Customer, Vendor and Finance.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MDG Business Partner (Vendor and Customer) is mandatory.
• Experience in the analysis and integration of master data for purchasing, financial and controlling processes.
• Experience in integrating MDG with other SAP systems, including S/4HANA, ECC, ERP and other logistics and financial modules and also other 3 rd -Party tools.
• Experience with FIORI applications, FIORI Launchpad.
• Experience in managing core and application attributes based on S/4HANA data models for customer, supplier, product, financial, and master data custom-defined objects.
• Analysis and optimization of the developed applications in the existing system world, including interfaces.
• Documentation and monitoring of user requests and delivery of content for IT knowledge management.
• Participation in projects to integrate the master data into the processes or evaluation and implementation of the project-specific master data requirements.
• Cooperation with the owners of the master data solution as well as with internal and external partners worldwide.
• Expertise in configuring and designing the SAP MDG applications, including data modeling, workflows, and data governance policies.
• Excellent SAP ABAP backend development required.
• Experience with end-to-end master data quality management (with rules management, monitoring)
• Data Model, UI, Search, Duplicate Check, and IDOC enhancements.
• Build custom interfaces using ABAP with pre-processing functionality and calls to MDG APIs and services.
• BRF+ Rules - Configuring and developing hundreds of BRF+ rules for material/article, customer, and vendor.
• Convert business process flow diagrams to MDG BRF+ workflow settings for single-use, user agent, and non-user agent tables.
• Code BADI's and other enhancements as needed.
• Develop data quality reports using MDG Data Quality Management; create reports and dashboards for DQ KPIs as per client requirements.
• Perform Data Replication Framework related configuration.
• Perform MDG configuration and initial setup working with the Basis/Security team.
• Prepare / Collaborate on Design Authority approval documentation.
• Professional SAP MDG certification desired.
• Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are preferred: SAP, Development, SolMan 5+ (and higher), CHARM, MS Azure and Quality Center Preferred-User Interface Implementation, Fiori UI5, via Floorplan Manager (FPM), FIORI FIRST Approach.
• Preferred- ABAP, Workflows, Data Migration experience.
• Preferred – S4HANA Migration experience.
• Preferred – Onapsis Solutions for SAP ABAP.
• UI for MDG.
• Knowledge on change management, defect tracking and testing tools and Solution Manager (CHARM), HPQC, qTest, Service Now, Jira, Confluence, Signavio, Onapsis, SPLUNK would be required along with your role.
• Our current system landscape consists of various systems and applications (for instance):
• S4P02 Hana, S4Core, ECC 6.0 EHP8, ECC 4.7, HANA DB, PI, OIP, BW, BIZAGI, INVOICETRACK, COUPA, Winshuttle, MDG as S4Hana on premise, Charm, SOLMAN, GCDB and even more 3rd party systems.

• Completed studies in business informatics, computer science, business administration or comparable with further qualification in the SAP environment.
