THK MC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission – To Serve Mankind – to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THK MC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors’ Community, and Therapy. Apply now and make a difference. RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a Strong and Dynamic Leader to join the Senior Management Team at Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC). The CFO plays a pivotal role in driving and directing all financial activities to support THKMC’s strategic imperatives and to ensure long term financial sustainability. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the corporate finance, accounting and regulatory compliance functions including financial governance and internal controls.
  • Responsible for financial and management reporting, cashflow, budgetary control, treasury matters.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies and funding ministries.
  • Work with Senior Management Team to efficiently develop budget proposals and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting.
  • Provide professional financial analysis and insights to guide decision-making, ensuring alignment with overall corporate strategic plan.
  • Monitor key financial performance indicators, identify trends and recommend strategies to achieve financial sustainability.
  • Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments as well as evaluate and manage capital structure and reserves.
  • Responsible for the preparation of all management, financial and statutory reporting, including consolidated I&E statements, KPI, and other reports required for management, finance committee and Board meetings.
  • Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of finance systems, seeking feedback from stakeholders, and making imperative improvements.
  • Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.
  • Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field.
  • Candidate with relevant experience in non-profit organisations will be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in finance leadership role, demonstrating track record of financial strategy development and implementation.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholders’ management capabilities.
