What youll be doing This role is accountable for the development, implementation and monitoring of business controls across Commercial Direct Claims, to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements and frameworks alongside supporting the monitoring and management of Commercial Direct Claims risk related issues and events, ensuring all actions are closed within defined timeframes. You will ensure business compliance both internally and externally within Commercial Direct Claims, against Direct Line group Frameworks andor FCA and other regulatory requirements. ● Development of consistent best practice processes and procedures across Commercial Direct Claims to optimise business efficiency, working with other areas of the business to identify improvement initiatives ● Supporting the directorate in any compliance, risk and business control issues, including Customer Conduct ● Support Commercial Direct Claims with identification, assessment and management of risk issues and events, through to closure ● Undertake reporting on all OQC, compliance, risk and business controls activity, within agreed timescales ● Support ad hoc activity to understand adverse performance through trend analysis and provide summary reports on findings, to include recommendations ● Provide support and guidance to the Team Leaders on compliance, risk and business controls ● Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes for Commercial Direct Claims, the wider business and our customers ● Ensure that Commercial Direct Claims adhere to the OQC framework, identifying issues early and escalating them in a timely manner ● Support and drive QA consistency, and improvements as appropriate, across all Commercial Direct Claims areas. ● Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to the role in line with Direct Line Group risk framework ● Accountable for self-development to maximise personal contribution to the job What were looking for ● Strong working knowledge of Commercial claims handling and Quality Assurance practices. ● Good communication skills, ability to build strong networks and form effective relationships with key stakeholders. ● Data analysis and reporting ● Strong attention to detail. ● Continuous improvement mindset ● Collaborate, influence and problem solve to create and deliver improvements in QA results. ● Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines Hours: 35 hours Closing Date: 15th March 2024 There’s no-one else like you.
