The role provides an opportunity to practice women centred care within the scope of practice for a registered Midwife. A community focussed model of Maternity care that provides a collaborative and integrative services to address the needs of the women and their families. Our Midwives can work across a range of both ambulatory and non-ambulatory services, including Antenatal; Intrapartum/Birthing, Postnatal and community/ancillary services. All our EMHS Midwives are provided an opportunity to gain experience in our well-established Midwifery Group Practice including the award winning Boodjari Yorgas service supporting Aboriginal maternal health and wellbeing.
