Crew HR is seeking a talented Production Manager for our client, WCP! PRODUCTION MANAGER

ABOUT WCP Since 2001, WCP has been working with Metro Vancouver’s best known companies, building owners, and property managers, protecting and renewing buildings and facilities. WCP does more than just commercial painting. Our professional project managers and technicians have the skills required to produce large scale restoration and specialty coating projects in addition to commercial painting. Our experience and continual investment in education and training means we utilize the latest coating systems, technology, and operational procedures to ensure your project is completed efficiently, safely, on time, and budget. At this time, our team is growing and we are looking for a master of project management, logistics, and communication to join the team. IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL BE:
  • Leading the end-to-end project management lifecycle, encompassing pre-production, production, and job close stages
  • Ensuring projects adhere to the established timeline, with a keen awareness of activities across all sites at any point in time
  • Overseeing a portfolio of 8-12 concurrent projects, meticulously maintaining organized documentation for each
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for WCP in everyday interactions with various vendors, clients, and subcontractors
  • Collaborating closely with Crew Leads (subcontractors) to guarantee timely completion of tasks and adherence to work standards
  • Dedicating time onsite to establish strong relationships with the crew members
  • Cultivating an environment where company values and culture take precedence in all situations
  • Actively engaging in coaching and contributing to professional development initiatives with enthusiasm
  • Functioning as a dedicated client liaison, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with clients to explore potential future opportunities and foster repeat business relationships
  • Maintaining a vigilant awareness of the project calendar and budgets to ensure clarity and organization
  • Guaranteeing accurate and timely completion of monthly billing and invoicing processes
  • Actively engaging in the ongoing enhancement of systems, seeking opportunities to streamline processes, and integrating new software and programs for improved efficiency
  • Taking responsibility for keeping the CRM data current and managing ongoing administrative tasks
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • 5+ years in Project Management roles or Production Management in building renewal, commercial painting or restoration projects
  • In the field experience working in waterproofing, building renewal and restoration
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing projects and contract administration from start to closeout
  • Excellent client service skills, with the ability to work in a diverse workforce
  • Driven self starter, with a preference for shaping your own schedule
  • Proven dedication to ongoing education to improve your industry knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with high-volume workload, and ability to stay focused and make sound decisions
  • Experience working with technology including Google Sheets, and CRM software - Salesforce preferred
  • Must have a clean, valid driver’s license
  • Must be based in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland Area
