About the Role

Planning: Assist in annual target setting Budget and latest estimate process. Ensure accuracy of Plans vs. Actuals and that planning exercises are based on latest operational business assumptions. Investments: Assist with the creation of business cases and preparation of Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs). Make sure CAR reflects best current financial and operational solution to the local and global business. Ensure CARs are compliant with local and global accounting guidelines/policies and reflect all required key-figures and evaluate different scenarios. Monitor CARs in respect of spending and timeline adherence, and that the creation of the fixed asset(s) are completed after Project handover. Improvement Initiatives: Assist in the creation of business cases for proposed improvement initiatives. Link operational benefits from improvement initiatives to the financial impact and establish clear measurement. Standard costing: Assist in preparation of annually standard costing and regular variance analysis. Reporting: Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial information & analysis to Local leadership in support of decision making processes. Ensure KPIs follow global definitions where applicable. Training and Education: Good understanding of finance basics, terms, definitions, accounting principles and standard costing. Very good analytical skills of variances and all other COGM and COGS elements. Good understanding of basics of international economics and global business

Role Requirements

University degree in accounting, business or economics, CMA is a plus. Excellent English is a must, other language is a plus. 0 - 1 year of finance experience. Preferred to have a manufacturing environment experience and ERP system experience. Professional use of Microsoft office.
