The Work You'll Do SAP Integration Architect is responsible for supporting sales and implementation activities for, primarily, SAP customers with complex compliance requirements that need solution rather than product-based implementations. The role is market facing and will require extensive work with prospects and clients. There will also. Be a substantial amount of time required to coordinate between internal stakeholders including but not limited to Sales, Pre-Sales, Product Management and Professional Services. In this role, you will directly engage in selected sales opportunities and/or projects, actively participating in customer meetings, working closely with our internal stakeholders and account executives in the creation of proposals that present compelling solutions that meet the customers' needs. Post-sale your role will be to ensure that the solution envisaged with the client is substantially delivered by Sovos so that the business benefits accrue to the client. You will conduct discovery and assessment workshops with prospects, understanding and documenting customer needs, using your high level of analytical skills in order to analyze customer’s requirements to identify the Sovos solution that will best suit their business goals. Specific responsibilities include:
- Lead complex prospective clients through discovery meetings
- Identify customer’s business needs and articulate how Sovos technology can address those needs
- Understanding of industry trends and client needs
- Expert Technical and Functional knowledge of Sovos products
- Serve as the regional customer-facing technical thought leader on SAP with deep knowledge of relevant SAP components and associated Sovos products
- Develop executive relationships with technical thought leaders within the region
- Provide support across solution design and scoping
- Collaborate with Departmental, Regional, and Executive Leadership
- Manage selected client expectations throughout the pre-sales cycle
- Development of resource estimates and a major contributor to project planning
- Being able to work with client ERP experts and enterprise architects to establish requirements and articulate those to Sovos stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years of related experience with a software company or systems integrator in enterprise architecture and SAP
- A high degree of SAP ABAP expertise as it relates to compliance (e.g. invoicing, reporting) and e-audit (e.g. SAF-T)
- Expertise in interactive pre-sales discovery meetings
- Extensive experience in developing project plans and resource estimates for complex technology projects
- Strategic thinker, proven experience navigating through a complex sales process
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and outstanding presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail, well organized and strong time management skills
- Articulate, credible and persuasive
- Fluent English communication skills with the confidence to present to clients
- Additional European / Asian languages an advantage
- Availability to travel at least 25%
- Having good knowledge about integration methods between SAP and non-SAP systems and middleware
