As the Chief People Officer, you will lead the organization's efforts in designing and implementing comprehensive human resources strategies that support the overall business plan and strategic direction. This includes areas such as succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The CPO will provide strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, stakeholders, and the board of directors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive HR strategy that supports the growth of the business and enhances organizational performance.
  • Lead talent acquisition and development strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent in a competitive market.
  • Implement innovative workforce planning and restructuring initiatives that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and sustainable.
  • Champion the company's culture and values, fostering an environment of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Advise and support senior leadership in decision-making processes related to human resources and organizational development.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations across jurisdictions the company operates in.
Essential Qualifications
  • A proven track record of success in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within the insurance brokerage or financial services industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with the ability to drive HR initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of persuasively articulating HR strategies to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in navigating the complexities of leading HR in a remote work environment.
  • A deep understanding of employment legislation, diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, and talent management strategies.
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
