Merchandise Planning Manager MAP Active Malaysia

Role & Responsibilities: Inventory Management: - Maintain healthy stock levels by implementing the inventory KPI’s. - Manage ageing inventory at the required levels. Merchandising Planning (OTB): - Improved margins through better product planning to increase Full price sell throughs and minimize discount. Brand Management: - To support and ensure the Brands realize their budgeted sales and profit through improved merchandising processes. - To standardize and clearly define the roles and responsibilities expected from Brand team. Specific responsibilities : - Business review with country head, CFO and Brand team weekly. - Standardize MPLAN’s and reports HO guidelines. - P&L review with country manager and CFO monthly. - Monthly MPLAN, Brand performance and Inventory review with Brand team. - Monthly Markdown and promotion plan reviews and with Brand and Marketing teams - OTB (on to buy) review and approval. - Formulate business plan for new brands as required. - Budget (yearly) and reforecast (quarterly) work with Country Manager, Finance and Brand teams. - Seek alignment with the relevant stakeholders, whilst managing cultures differences. - Ensure all regions adhere to the plan and operate within the guidelines. - Consolidated and approve merchandise plans all brands. Financial & Non-Financial Measures : a. Improve margin through improved merchandise planning processes. Manage inventory levels per corporate guidelines and meet yearly Sales and Margin budgets. b. Motivated and provide guidance to Brand team. Key Relationships (Internal & External): COO, Country Manager, CFO, Brand team, MPLAN team and Marketing team. Brand Principles.
