Become a part of our international Operations team at oneof our locations in Kelana Jaya, Malaysia. For the next possible date we arelooking for you in fulltime as Customer Service Executive Tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Procurement of tariffs from forwarders, carriers, deugrobranches and worldwide agents
- Reporting and documentation of all sales activities
- Management of suppliers, subcontractors, freightforwarders and third parties
- Coordination between warehouses, carriers and suppliers
- Organising trucking and intermodal shipments and makingbookings with carriers and third parties
- Conducting freight rate negotiations with forwarders,carriers, freight handlers and deugro overseas offices and agent
- Responsible for receivables, payables, profit sharing andforecasting for assigned spot shipments or accounts
- Valuing freight and finding routes for freight movement
- Holistic communication with the customer regarding prices,shipment dates, delays etc.
- Support function/contact person for specific customers orproject operations
- Assist in the preparation of RFQ and tender responses
- Reviewing and posting invoices and billing customers
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client and supplierrelationships
- Conducting and assisting with market analysis on anongoing basis
- Follow-up on orders to ensure delivery by the specifieddeadline
- Representing deugro at project meetings, sales meetings,proposal clarification meetings, negotiations, kick-off meetings and industryevents
- Supporting the Pricing/Operations department in thepreparation of commercial proposals
- Bachelor degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry
- Solid experience in dealing with customer as well as good communication skills
- Very good proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Experienced in operating systems, Accounting Systems, Tracking Systems (Cargosoft, Exact, CRM, AXIS etc.)
- These qualities characterize you: detail- and customer-oriented, analytical, organized
- Excellent communications skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
