Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership and strategic direction to the Sales Engineering team, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and customer expectations.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of highly skilled sales engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our telecommunications, digital services, and financial services solutions, and effectively communicate their value to potential customers.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to engage with customers, understand their needs, and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Post-Sales Support: Collaborate with technical teams to provide post-sales support to clients.
  • Solution Design: Work with the product and technical teams to design and tailor solutions to address customer-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide training and resources to the sales team to enhance their technical knowledge, enabling them to effectively position our solutions.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics for the Sales Engineering team, including conversion rates, solution quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive and innovative. QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE
  • Masters Degree in Information Technology or business administration, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of work experience in technical sales with a proven record of success leading a team.
  • Sound technical knowledge with understanding and/or hands on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements and translate it to technical teams
