We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our UOP team in our Kuala Lumpur office. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager . Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execute all Equipment Supply Projects delivered through UOP Asia HUB or UOP Malaysia.
• Work with Project Managers to manage sold projects in accordance to operating guidelines and work procedures, managing scope, cost and quality. Variation orders are controlled. Manage customer from PO, KOM, KOMQ, reviewed to final doc delivery.
• Maintain productive work relations with Engineering & Equipment Centers to coordinate work assignments. Attend global calls as required to achieve this.
• Manage project interfaces: coordinating detailed design, procurement, fabrication and delivery of assigned projects.
• Assist to supervise/manage fabrication and site mechanical completion work as required for Equipment projects.
• Work together with Sales and Sales Support in events, contract reviews, price reviews, spec reviews, bid preparations, invoicing, AVLs, billing milestones.
• Work with Materials Analyst on SAP Project Systems where necessary functions are active and reporting done on a timely manner. Review export compliance data, requisitioning, logistics, GR, invoicing, forecast is all performed per procedures and timeline
• Work with Procurement to coordinate project subcontracting & equipment free issue purchases.
• Consult Business on resolution of project commercial issues as required.
• Use Honeywell UOP Business, HSE plus Operating Procedures and Tools for efficiency
• Take on Functional Accountabilities for cost center as assigned. Participate in functional activities and meetings.
• Undertake Training as Required

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering.
• Min 8 years of Experience in Gas / Refining / Petrochemicals industry in project engineering/EPCC.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with relevant industrial Codes and Standards.
• Experience in coordinating project packages and multi-discipline interactions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to travel 20-50% both domestically and internationally.
