  • Develop a concept paper for approval from Shariah Committee of the Bank.
  • Develop a proposal/variation paper for the introduction of new product or enhancement of existing product for stakeholders' concurrence and Products Management Committee's approval/ notification.
  • Prepare Risk Materiality Assessment on the product variation for Group Risk Management's endorsement.
  • Collaborate with other business units and stakeholders in Affin Bank for any business proposal and/or product development initiatives;
  • Prepare submission to Bank Negara Malaysia for product approval.
B. Market Intelligence
  • Conduct research on product features and practice to ensure that the product remains competitive and assure that the product has the highest quality of standard
C. Documentations
  • Assist Product Training and Documentation Unit to review on the draft of the documentation as per Business Unit request.
D. System
  • Prepare the User Specification Form (USF) for submission to IT Department fo creation/ enhancement in the system.
  • To attend to any queries by IT related to the request via the submission of US.
  • To review the Scope of Work and provide comments (if required).
E. Operational Risk Control (ORC) & Shariah Risk and Control Self-Assessment (SCSA)
  • Champion Operational Risk Management (ORM) activities in the business/support unit.
  • Be the link between business/ support unit and Group Operational Risk Management (GORM) for the implementation of ORM tools and methodologies 
F. General
  • Verify the monthly reporting to Cagamas SRP Berhad for Skim Rumah Pertamaku-i product.
  • Undertaking any other job functions, duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department/Division or Management from time to time.
