About the role:In this diverse role, you will play a pivotal role in their journey to revolutionize water management solutions for the New Zealand environment. As a Production Planner & Purchaser, you will be at the forefront of planning and scheduling production for theur extensive range of moulded components and finished products.. Your responsibilities include managing stock levels, encompassing raw materials and moulded components, to ensure optimal stock levels while maintaining a forward-thinking production forecast.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Coordinating production operations, aligning them with material, labor, and equipment availability.
- Managing production schedules to meet production deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
- Maintaining raw material and product stock levels to meet production requirements.
- Developing insightful production forecasting metrics.
- Skillfully purchasing consumable products vital to our plant’s success.
Days/ Hours:Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with MYOB Advanced production module (preferred but not required).
- Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.
