The ideal candidate will be working with our well-established energy team. Location: Dublin or Cork office / hybrid / site work as required Position: Full-Time 37.5 hours weekly, permanent, salary based Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • A degree / masters in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar discipline.
  • Over 7 years’ experience working in mechanical / electrical consultancy / design or Contractor.
  • Experience with Contracts and Contractors preferable i.e. contract administration & site supervision.
Experience and knowledge of
  • Mechanical (pumping and aeration) systems;
  • Contract Administration & Site Supervision
  • Contractor experience would be advantageous;
  • Electrical installations and electrical safety;
  • Site inspections and assessments;
  • Scoping and costing of upgrade projects of M&E equipment;
  • Water and wastewater infrastructure;
  • Renewable energy knowledge (solar & wind) would be advantageous but not a necessity;
  • Good knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a team and lead and develop junior personnel.
  • Communication with different designers, suppliers, engineering disciplines.
  • Liaising and chairing meetings with clients and contractors.
  • Financial and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Full driving licence with access to own car.
It should be noted, experience in all these areas is not a requirement to apply for the position, further on the job training will be provided.
