• Planning 

1. Collect project information from Project Manager and perform micro risk assessment on projects.
2. Escalate to Section Head and Section lead on extraordinary high risk projects for further assessment.
3. Involve in the planning and risk assessment relating to each project/assignment as follows:

• to prepare the Audit-On-A-Page (AOP), end-to-end.
• to identify the potential project management, system operations and technology risks for the areas
• to identify and classify all the controls for the areas.
• to obtain sufficient information for the Control Design Adequacy Assessment
• to ensure all documentation has been prepared based on GCAD standards.
• Fieldwork

1. Attend the system / technology workshop and highlight any noted concerns in the discussion with project team. 
2. Assist the assessment on the sufficiency of internal skill and knowledge for the business requirements understanding and the technology involved. Escalate to Section Head on the required skill and knowledge required for the review.
3. Review and assess the risks and controls across project management, technology and system operational control. Report control weaknesses, risk implications and collaborates with advisory team in providing recommendations for improvement.
4. Ensure recommendations are clearly communicated and agreed by management and advisory memos are issued promptly.
5. Prepare the assessment on project delay or work and determine the justification. Assess and determine the new date to be proposed. 
6. Escalate to Section when there are major project issues causing delay.
7. Ensure advisory work complies with advisory standards and framework and within stipulated time frame.
8. Ensure documentation/working papers are accurately and appropriately developed, Teammate is used effectively and that internal GCAD standards are met in carrying out all advisory assignments.

• Reporting

Prepare advisory report and audit observations. Ensure the observations are factually accurate. Propose advisory review opinion and conclusion

• Administrative & Development 

1. Update the audit programs, maintain quality of audit documentation and active participation in internal audit continuous improvement initiatives. 
2. Follow up on outstanding audit recommendations and validate the implemented recommendations.
3. Assist the Section Head on-the-job training and in other training and development needs.

• Collaboration

Communicate and interact with Management across the GCAD organization. Responsible to be a team player and collaborate when working in a team. 

• Others

Carry out any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the CA Department Head or Section Head from time to time #J-18808-Ljbffr
