Seniority Level : Experienced Professional Function : Operation EH&S Location: Akora Khattack ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES What are the key objectives and expectations from this role? Implementationand compliance of BAT Guidelines and Local regulations pertaining to Operations at Akora Khattak Factory.To carry out physical checks & ensure compliance of policy and best practices across site. To assists EH&S Manager in routine EH&S activities. What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization? Reports to : Operation EH&S Reporting Level: Individual Contributor Geographic Scope : Local WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Lead all aspects of the regulatory compliance of the operation.
• Facilitate discharges/emissions testing, support safety programs, advise EH&S Manager of any non-compliances, and ensure weekly training for entrants. Assisted EH&S Manager during Reviews & Audits.
• Provides leadership to direct reports, contractors and third parties to meet manufacturing goals and support strategic direction of function and tracks and analyzes performance metrics and uses data to recommend improvements and identify process changes to ensure project management is embedded in program execution. Participate in changes occur during processes and help others to understand reasons for change in any global policy.
• Develop a detailed and comprehensive BAT sustainability plan for each function and ensure alignment and compliances for all the relevant department in light of global BAT policy and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and propose improvement opportunities in current process, tools and methodologies to enhance and improve effectiveness of the required sustainability plans across factory.
• Able to operates in a factory with blue collar workers.
• Faces a rural environment lacking hygiene and EH&S consciousness, requiring significant efforts to instigate attitudinal changes and enhance EH&S awareness.
• Support business conduct and compliance practice, including developing and monitoring compliance with relevant legislation and internal governance standards to ensure adequate processes are in place and adherence to defined policies and procedures by implementing and conduct appropriate training sessions across the business in alignment with the Area.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE Experience Required

• The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role to demonstrate competence.
• Good understanding of national environmental and health & safety laws.
• Sensitivity to environment and health & safety concerns, coupled with motivational and team-building skills to project EH&S support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for regular interaction with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
• Has good knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety, Processing & Factory Operations skills, personnel administration and its governing laws
• Understand and be sensitive to the natural environment and health & safety concerns and the priorities to be addressed.
• Outstanding learning agility, strong interpersonal, team building and strategic skills
• Sound understanding of risk management principles and their application to the business.
