- Fixed term parental leave contract (8 months)
- Perth or Melbourne based, with travel to both locations
- Manufacturing; modern sites, diverse and inclusive workforce
- End to end recruitment, ensuring that headcount resourcing and workforce planning supports the business requirements and remains within budget and approved headcount.
- Onboarding, inductions and provide support to our new team members and their managers.
- Provide expertise, advice and recommendations on matters related to the people management including ER matters, performance reviews and probations.
- Provide briefings and advice to managers on employee terms and conditions, policies and procedures.
- Manage workers compensation cases and administration and prepare return to work plans and reports.
- Partner with managers to develop the team members' experience and facilitate development plans and pathways.
- Oversee the management and implementation of all Learning & Development initiatives via our LMS, Kineo.
- Compensation & benefits: Support and assist with the annual pay review and liaise with Payroll to answer queries and administer changes.
- Administration & reporting: Ensure the HRIS (EmployeeConnect) is maintained with relevant employee information and produce regular data reports on your client groups.
- Terminations: Provide accurate advice to managers, administration, offboarding and exit interviews.
- Actively participate and assist with ad-hoc HR projects and reports as requested by the HOPC.
- 7 years' experience in a generalist HR role
- Experience in either manufacturing or production industries (blue and white collar)
- Accreditation as an RTW Coordinator, or a willingness to attain accreditation
- Experienced and competent with an HRIS (EmployeeConnect), LMS (Kineo) and ATS
- Current knowledge of relevant IR/ER and related legislation and ability to interpret the information
- Ability to adapt communication style and use influencing techniques to create positive outcomes
- Professional communication and presentation together with a positive attitude
- Sound understanding and commitment to privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to work remotely and as part of a team (Sydney based)
- Willingness and ability to travel interstate each month (WA/VIC)
