Our British curriculum school,  International School of Creative Science (ISCS), Bahrain is looking for a creative, passionate and outstanding Head of Inclusion who value professional development opportunities and a good work-life balance. As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school. The Head of Inclusion monitors progress of objectives and targets for pupils with learning difficulties from teachers’ plans, evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning by work analysis and use these analyses to guide future improvements. Put provision in place to ensure that progress of such people improves relative to those without such issues. To develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. To facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils, and by their organization of learning resources and the classroom learning environment. Develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability, aptitude and cultural difference. Assess and record progress and prepare pupils for examinations. By linking pupils' knowledge to earlier learning and developing ways to encourage it further, and challenging and inspiring pupils to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding. Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related subjects
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in similar capacity following UK National Curriculum
  • Knowledge of Data Disaggregation, Analysis and Differentiation for Students
  • Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
  • A proven track record of successful teaching and securing outstanding results through ensuring high quality teaching and learning.
  • The ability to use data effectively, to monitor and enhance student progress.
