The Credit and Collections Manager assists finance leadership by directing and leading the Credit and Collection teams to improve DSO and cash flow management, working closely with operation teams on collections, generating collection and other management reports, and providing analysis and action plans on long aged AR balance, working with clients directly where necessary for collection. Help management with the collection terms decision based on credit rating and analysis. What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for credit control and collections performance.
  • Submit collection and management reports focusing on AR improvement.
  • Work with Finance Director on collection process improvement.
  • Set up a credit control process and implement it with operations.
  • Liaise and coordinate input from operations to improve the collection process.
  • Provide action plans on difficult accounts and ensure the execution of that plans.
  • DSO improvement to meet the corporate target.
  • Review bad debt provision.
  • Ongoing review, development, and documentation of relative policies and procedures of collection and credit controls.
What You Will Need: Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or above or recognized equivalent in Accounting.
  • 5 years related collection and/or credit experience in the field required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Be able to travel where necessary.
  • Be willing to work under pressure with reasonable travel required.
  • Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, and Quality Management System.
It Would Be Nice If You Had
  • CPA preferred.
