Regions : MEA, LA, SEA, India, China, ANZ Location: Dubai, UAE Reporting to: FP&A Manager Purpose of position The Senior FP&A Analyst helps co-ordinate the budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting and associated FP&A activities in these regions. With revenue over to $400m, and a diverse range of products and services, we require a talented individual for this complex role in the Finance team. The Senior FP&A Analyst consolidates the regional inputs to provide senior management with a view of the International financial goals and performance. The position also interacts with the Finance team in the Global HQ in Greensboro, NC. This includes supporting the delivery of forecasts, updates and actuals reporting within tight global timelines. This role: Facilitates a clear flow of information between global and local teams. Is a key point of contact for problem solving, training and general guidance on financial planning and actuals reporting. Works closely with senior management to provide financial data and insight The position is also expected to help the regional teams improve FP&A processes and provide a range of ad-hoc analysis to supply the business with insightful financial information. Gilbarco Veeder-Root (GVR) requires that all associates comply with the actual GVR HSE Policy, as well as the Vontier Standard of Conduct. Position Relationships Interacts with Finance teams across the INTERNATIONAL region and the Finance team at the Global HQ. Has a strong dotted line to the INTERNATIONAL Finance VP. Interacts with regional teams (predominately finance teams). Plays a key role in the central FP&A finance team. Interfaces with other Vontier companies as required Key Responsibilities Consolidate financial results and forecasts from multiple entities on a Regional basis for Total International, Fueling Solutions and Retail Solutions. Question the inputs received to drive meaningful discussion of business performance. Provide regular management reports and financial analysis to regional and global management including main finance decks and supporting appendices. Coordinate forecasting for submission to global HQ in Greensboro (GSO). Support key stakeholders with financial information. Conduct and provide ad-hoc business and financial analysis as required for all key customers including the regional management and the Finance team at global HQ in Greensboro (GSO). Support the ongoing improvement of Financial processes across the regional teams to establish and roll out best practices where possible. Be a point of contact for users of HFM for system queries, trouble-shooting and general advice. Conduct cost benchmarking activities across the regions to identify any opportunities for improvement. Management of International HQ cost center. Utilise Vontier Business System (VBS) tools and skills including kaizen / continuous improvement philosophy and the Problem-Solving Process (PSP) to improve processes. Measures of Performance On time and high-quality delivery of core FP&A processes/deliverables and financial information for review. Smooth FP&A processes with strong feedback from global HQ and local teams. Demonstrating a strong understanding of business inputs, risks and opportunities. Successful implementation of improved processes. Education/ achievements Educated to degree level, those qualified by experience will also be considered. A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA) is preferred, although those qualified by experience will also be considered (preferred) Experience/ knowledge Experience working in a fast-moving multinational environment. Experience of FP&A activity including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and other aspects of financial analysis. Experience of managing a consolidation process of multiple entities across regions, cultures, and entities. Specific skills Strong IT systems experience, which must include advanced Excel. Experience of Hyperion (HFM) or a similar finance tool is also required. Process improvement
