DEPARTMENT/ DIVISION DESCRIPTION The Operations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and leading a team of travel operations coordinators or travel agents within an organization or travel agency. They provide guidance, support, and coordination to ensure efficient and effective travel operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead a team providing guidance, support, and mentoring to enhance their performance and productivity.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the travel team, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of travel arrangements for employees or client
  • Allocate tasks and assignments to team members, considering workload, skills, and expertise, and ensuring proper distribution of responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing performance improvement initiatives as needed
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for travel operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to travel policies and guidelines
  • Collaborate with other departments or teams to ensure smooth integration and coordination of travel arrangements with other operational activities.
  • Resolve escalated customer inquiries or complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
