About The Job

We are a rapidly scaling digitally focused managed services company operating across Europe. With a strong presence in multiple countries, we are focused on providing innovative managed solutions to our customers. As we continue to expand our operations and enhance our technology capabilities, we are seeking a talented and experienced Head of Infrastructure to lead our technological strategies, systems integration, and architecture across the organization with a focus on system standardization and leadership, enabling us to scale the business model across Europe at pace. As the Head of Infrastructure, you will report directly to the CTO. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our technology vision, driving innovation, and delivering integrated cloud-based solutions to support our business objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing the overall technology strategy, system integration initiatives, and architectural design across our operations in multiple countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact and relevance to the business.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements and propose innovative solutions to drive competitive advantage.

Systems Integration and Architecture

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, robust, and secure system integration solutions.
  • Define architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices for the organization.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead internal technology teams and ensure that the quality of service is maintained.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, and external partners, to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions.

Technology Governance and Compliance

  • Develop and enforce technology governance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively address potential technology-related risks.
  • Identify and manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and external partners.

Skills & Experiences

  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in a multi-national organization.
  • Strong expertise in systems integration and architecture, with a track record of successful implementation of complex enterprise-level projects.
  • Deep knowledge of emerging technologies, Openshift(Kubernetes), RHEL(Linux) and cloud-based systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams (both externally and internally).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing technology budgets.
  • Strategic Analysis, Mentorship, and Innovation – Provide intelligence and support for the Infrastructure Management team in areas of innovation, advice on strategic IT decisions, technology choices, and the assessment of investment cases for technology using clear written and oral communication skills to present ideas in a business and user-friendly language.
