Eligibility : Career Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility Job Summary: The Project Development Officer (PDO) II for Reports Writer primarily assists the PDO III in ensuring that DROMIC fully complies with its mandated functions and responsibilities in disaster response- particularly in disaster reporting- per AO 02, 2. 2015. He/she assists the PDO III under the Disaster Reporting and the Information Communication Development Section of DROMIC. He/she responsible and accountable in assisting the PDO III in managing DROMIC’s compliance to its reportorial requirements for the entire Bureau and the Department in disaster information dissemination and management, particularly in bringing out complete staff work in the accomplishment of its required tasks. He/she is likewise responsible and accountable in the collection, consolidation, archiving and preparation for dissemination of updated reports on all of DRMB’s Disaster Response Activities: from its Disaster Preparedness for Response; Disaster Response Management; Early Recovery and Rehabilitation; and Disaster Risk Resiliency programs’ projects and activities (PPAs). Job Outputs : 1. Timely-released and up-to-date DROMIC Reports and Updates on all of DRMB’s Disaster Response Activities: from its Disaster Preparedness for Response; Disaster Response Management; Early Recovery and Rehabilitation; and Disaster Risk Resiliency programs, projects and activities (PPAs)- accessible on file and in the DRMB & DRMOIC websites. 2. Memorandum for related communications 3. Feedback reports on field missions/field monitoring visits/ technical assistance; meetings, workshops, training, etc; DRRM-related DROMIC Reports, PowerPoint Presentations. 4. Comments and inputs to correspondences, policies, and guidelines as required by the immediate supervisor; and; 5. Other reports may be required. Primary Tasks: 1. Assist the Project Development Officer III under the Disaster Reporting and Information Communication Development Section of DROMIC. 2. Perform technical functions in the preparation of DRRM-related reports. 3. Perform project development functions relative to policy formulation, data generation, utilization, dissemination, data analysis. 4. Provide technical assistance to Field Offices. 5. Closely collaborate with PDO III and other DROMIC Section Heads to ensure coordinated efforts and complete staff work. 6. Monitor, consolidate, and prepare DROMIC Reports which include disaster response activities and accomplishments of the various divisions’ program implementations. 7. Coordinate with the Information Officer and Information Technology Officer for publication of consolidated updates in both the DRMB and DROMIC Social Media platforms and websites. 8. Coordinate with the different Division Heads for updates and reportorial requirements relative to each Division’s disaster response activities. 9. Prepare required DRRM-related DROMIC reports. 10.
