Role Overview Lead Valeo R&D Project development of ADAS Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Technology, with a Project Team and meeting performance objectives (Quality, Cost, Timing, Scope of Application). Support application of ADAS ECU platform solution by supporting business development and customer application project teams. Responsibilities R&D Project Management

• Working the relevant stakeholders – formalise the project scope/objectives and establish project setup
• Secure Project resources with associated departments and ensure matched to expected deliverables
• Define and manage the project budget
• Organize and lead activities of the R&D Design Team for the ADAS ECU Element
• Prepare project schedule including A/B/C/D product samples, synchronized to Valeo development milestones, and internal & external customer milestones & supplier deliverables
• Prepare project reviews for decision making at relevant committee
• Manages/Communicates on : project risk analysis, design to cost , change request management, R&D Development Effort, product cost, and industrial manufacturing impacts

  Support of New Business Development and ADAS ECU Platform application in customer projects

• Support new business development by leading solution proposals based on ECU platforms, preparing platform committee reviews and provide Mechatronics ECU Development Costs.
• Support application teams at the customer for presentations of the solutions
• Support Platform productivity projects as required in current applications

  Promote Valeo Values, Culture and Standards (Product, Methodology, Tools) within the Project Team he/she is in charge and control their application

• Respect Valeo Code of ethics
• Respect health, safety and environment charters and requirements
• Ensure Project development in compliance with Group Policy, Instructions and procedures.

Qualifications - External Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering degree
• Personal skills to manage functional organization
• Electronic component technical knowledge
• Knowledge of project management principles
• Technical Product Development experience (>5 years)
• Project Management experience (>3 years)
