Regional Crewing Specialist Jobs in Dubai | Maersk Careers
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that vessels in AMEA are manned according to legal requirements and SVITZER’s standards for relevant operational activities while ensuring crew statutory compliance across the region
- Assist in developing and maintaining regional guidelines for management of crew costs, driving cost efficiency in all crewing related expenditure
- Provide inputs on business development / new tender projects. Assist in ensuring that all relevant flag and registry requirements are being met by the AMEA fleet in connection with new business opportunities
- Crew compensation and rewards management for forming conceptualized, proposed and produced a standardized rewards program for all offshore personnel in AMEA
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary level education as minimum, degree level or formal maritime higher diploma preferred
- Demonstrable previous crewing management experience in a maritime environment essential.
- Deep Knowledge of the crewing / towage / maritime sector required.
- Demonstrable experience in developing crew standards and safety procedures
- Network within global crewing environment for attracting and resourcing crews for current and new business
- Expert knowledge of international crewing regulations including flag state requirements, STCW, ILO, MLC2006 regulations
- Pro-active self-starter, team player able to work using own initiative
- Able to prioritise and make decisions
