As we continue to expand our impact, we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as the Manager of Finance. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's financial assets.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for presentation to the leadership team and board of directors.
  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Work closely with program managers to monitor and control project budgets, providing financial guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular financial assessments and risk analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Previous experience with donors such as USAID, USEMBASSY, and USIP will be highly regarded.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in the NGO sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with donor-based reporting is highly desirable.
