Head of Product - Consumer (JazzCash) - Islamabad

Head of Product – Consumer will be responsible to manage the consumer business of JazzCash. The current JazzCash proposition revolves largely around the consumer business and has both the Over the Counter and Mobile Wallets products. This role is in charge of the overall innovation agenda of these products and to ensure profitable growth. The role reports directly to the Chief Product Officer in JazzCash.. What does “Head of Product - Consumer” do? Key responsibilities

• Define the long-term vision and strategy of our consumer product portfolio
• Oversee a detailed roadmap of consumer products to improve and increase User Acquisition and Consumer Experience
• Create both the long term strategy and short term development roadmap of your products, align this with the overall company strategy as well as with the priorities of business domains.
• Manage P&L for the consumer product portfolio.
• Hire, lead and mentor the product management team, putting collaboration at the core of how your teams work
• Engage with stakeholders across the company to understand commercial and operational dependencies & requirements
• Manage complex projects involving other departments and position yourself as subject matter expert in your domain for the organization
• Identify strategic growth opportunities to enhance the value proposition and scale Jazzcash products
• Apply market and consumer research to influence product strategy and optimize communication channels while maintaining a consumer centric point of view
• Work closely with technology to drive development of new products and features in anticipation of or response to customer needs, market trends, and competitive opportunities
• Nurture a data-driven experimental process to uncover opportunities, test hypotheses, and prioritise the roadmap.
• Work with other product leads to provide a best in class customer experience through shared vision, customer understanding, and initiatives.

• 10-12 years of experience, inclusive of 5 years in a people management role
• Managing P&L/Product Development/Growth/Segments in the Fintech/Telco/Banking/FMCG/Tech industry
• Significant experience & knowledge in product management and product development
• Detailed knowledge of digital economy and comprehensive knowledge of product growth
• Expert knowledge of budgeting and planning and strategy creation
• Strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and solve problems
• Proven track record of strong analytical and decision-making skills
