As a Reservations Agent, you will work with trend data to respond to Guest inquiries to develop strong relationships and maximize revenue opportunities. • Manage telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally and following brand standards, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times • Consistently deliver an excellent service to all guests and clients making enquiries or bookings at the hotel • Ensuring enquiries are managed to maximize sales, occupancy and revenue, including up-selling equipment, F&B and relevant hotel facilities wherever possible • Understand seasonal and historical trends to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates • Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities to maximize revenue • Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients • Monitor guest satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business • Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and processes, and contribute to a culture of high-quality standards for relationship building, guest services, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts. • Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no-show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate. • Actively working as part of a team to achieve the department objectives and budget • Actively consider prevention, recovery, and investigation of any complaints • Take over any other tasks and special projects that arise during business. • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification. •2-3 years of prior experience in in a five-star environment in the same role. • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required. • Must speak local language(s)[benefits]
