As a Product Director in Consumer & Community Banking, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. Job responsibilities

  • Defines the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Creates Initiatives, Prioritize user stories and feature epics to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with the overarching business and product goals for the firm
  • Owns execution of agile framework including prioritization of roadmap initiatives, inbound requests, quarterly planning, backlog health, testing and production readiness
  • Collaborates with Technology Partner, Area Product Owners, SCRUM teams of software engineers responsible for delivering solutions to deliver quality cutting edge features for engineering customers.
  • Interfaces with product stakeholders and cabinet members (e.g., Legal, Controls, etc.) and own to completion any product deliverables and action plans
  • Partners with customer success team and LOB teams to understand customer experience pain points, leading to the ideation then development of new or enhanced features
  • Manages P&L, budgeting for the Area Product.
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices, overall SDLC process.
  • Development background with knowledge on building distributed systems and framework/platform mindset
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
  • Good understanding of below technology skills:
    • Cloud technology, cloud strategy and cloud computing technologies including Cloud Foundry, AWS (Amazon Web Services).
    • Container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
  • Experience in working as part of a team of geographically distributed and culturally diverse people. Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed and rapidly changing environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Strong understanding of, or experience working within an Agile development framework
  • Ability to think strategically, innovate and clearly communicate complex ideas
  • Ability to independently influence senior executives and product stakeholders
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Adobe Analytics, Figma) and Microsoft Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience developing frameworks or experience working on other cloud platforms (Google, Azure) a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, also Exceptional time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
