The Role & What You Will Be Doing Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Finance Manager – Global Supply Chain role will make an impact: Hub Inventory- Lead and co-ordinate the monthly inventory reviews for obsolete and slow-moving inventory both for operations/manufacturing stock and commercially owned stock.
- Preparation of inventory provisions for internal and external manufacturing and central warehouses
- Detailed analysis of manufacturing scrap and inventory write off
- Monthly Yield analysis for internal and external toll manufacturing
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and oversee monthly reconciliations of inventory accounts.
- Prime – Hub inventory point of contact
- SAP testing for new and complex inventory flows
- Point of contact for external and internal audit on inventory related balances
- Business partner with Supply Chain inventory team to roll out Global Commercial Inventory Risk and Reserve process across all Commercial Legal entities.
- Produce single consolidated view of Global Inventory and partner with Global Supply Chain to understand any variances month and month and to budget.
- Forecasting & Budgeting activities of Operating expenses at the hubs
- NWC budgeting, forecasting and actuals. Consolidating and presenting results for Operations to senior management
- Business partner with Global Supply Chain. Focus on issue resolution with order management team to correct any transactions with errors.
- Projects as required including those arising from integration and divestment activity.
- Educated to a degree level and with a Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years’ experience working in industry. Working in Global Supply Chain an advantage but not essential
- Strong IT skill set, with ability to analyse large data files.
- Experience at use of SAP is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills.
