Position Overview: Waves is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Analyst with experience in Tableau to join our team. The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities: 1. Data Analysis : Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to customer behavior, operational efficiency, and business performance. 2. Tableau Expertise : Utilize Tableau to create interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports that effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders. 3. Data Visualization : Design and develop visualizations that facilitate understanding of complex data, enabling data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization. 4. Data Quality Assurance : Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes. 5. Performance Tracking : Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, customer engagement, and application usage. 6. Report Generation : Generate regular reports for management and other stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. 7. Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Operations Manager and IT department, to identify data needs and provide analytical support for decision-making. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with expertise in Tableau or equivalent systems for data visualization. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. - Excellent communication skills to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality. - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Knowledge of marine services or e-commerce is a plus.
