Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Strategy:
  • Develop and implement data-driven pricing strategies that optimize profit margins and market competitiveness.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform pricing decisions.
  • Analyze cost structures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models and tools.
  • Train and coach sales teams on effective pricing tactics.
  • Proposal Development:
  • Manage the entire proposal lifecycle,from understanding client needs to crafting compelling proposals that win deals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing technical and commercial proposals.
  • Ensure proposals are accurate,concise,and persuasive,highlighting key differentiators and value propositions.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients.
  • Track and analyze proposal win rates and identify areas for improvement.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Evaluate the financial viability of proposals and identify potential risks.
  • Analyze the impact of pricing decisions on profitability and cash flow.
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Present pricing and proposal recommendations to senior management.
  • Leadership and Communication:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Pricing and Proposal specialists.
  • Effectively communicate complex pricing and financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Skills Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in pricing and/or proposal development,preferably in a complex B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis,cost modeling,and budgeting techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
  • Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and presentation software.
  • Familiarity with proposal management software a plus.
