ABOUT THE JOB OPPORTUNITY Direct-Hire | Permanent role Responsibilities:
- Lead financial and administrative operations to meet the financial objectives of the brand.
- Create, execute, and oversee tailored financial systems and controls that align with the brand's needs.
- Foster financial relationships and provide guidance and support to the Brand Finance team.
- Generate financial reports, interpret data for the management team, and offer actionable recommendations.
- Manage expenses within the brand's allocated budget.
- Develop and uphold standardized financial and administrative protocols.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance Head, Country Head, and Brand Manager to draft the business plan and operational budget for the assigned brand.
- Prepare and oversee the brand's budget.
- Review all invoices and ensure timely payments in coordination with the Brand Finance Associate and internal Finance Manager.
- Address and resolve financial and administrative concerns overseen by the Brand Finance Associate.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and actual performance in comparison to business plans.
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations.
- Lead and ensure adherence to statutory annual audit processes and tax reporting.
- Conduct evaluations to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with auditors to maintain proper financial oversight for the brand.
- Oversee the prompt preparation of all monthly and annual finance reports.
- Engage with various departments to discuss brand strategies and achieve consensus on future plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Must be a CPA
- Strong operational finance experience.
- Proven accountability and a "business-owner" mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
- Keen attention to detail, with a track record of maintaining robust financial practices.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities with minimal disruption.
- Flexibility and adeptness at handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strongly process- and solutions-oriented.
- Interest or experience in start-up companies, and/or entrepreneurship
- Savvy in technology, and a keen interest in how technology can transform finance
