Safety Officer for KSA projects

Job Description

Responsibilities: - Create and execute comprehensive safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. - Collaborate with management to establish safety goals and objectives. - Regularly inspect facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify and correct potential hazards. - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. - Stay abreast of local, state, and federal safety regulations and ensure the organization's compliance. - Provide guidance on safety-related regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. - Conduct drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency plans. - Facilitate communication regarding safety issues and initiatives throughout the organization. - Prepare and distribute safety guidelines, posters, and other relevant materials. - Investigate accidents, incidents, and complaints related to safety. - Prepare and submit detailed reports on safety performance and incidents to management.

Job Requirements

• Key Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer. - OSHA AND NEBOSH certificate is highly desirable. - In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in using safety management software and tools.
