Responsibilities:
- Design and develop integration solutions for connecting various systems and applications within the banking environment.
- Create and implement middleware solutions using industry-standard protocols and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions.
- Build, configure, and maintain integration platforms, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Design and implement API management strategies and security protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Integration and Middleware Developer in the banking industry.
- Technical Skills Required:
- Strong experience in integration and middleware development in the banking industry & technology covering delivery channels integration with core systems.
- familiarity with Banking industry integration adapters such as ISO messages , MT messages & financial Transactions related
- Proficient in developing integration mechanisms and protocols using Java , SOAP and REST JSON APIs.
- Deep understanding of API management principles and best practices such as APIgee , Kong , CA , software AG
- Experience with API security, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and techniques, such as message queuing, pub/sub, and event-driven architecture.
- Expertise in ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) platforms and technologies such as Oracle ESB , Software AG , WSO2
- Expertise in developing DB integration including DB views , DB stored procedures and triggers
- Experience in developing integration Design and architecture
- Strong understanding of banking systems and processes.
- Knowledge of relevant banking industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
