- Design and manage multiple small to medium to large scale landscape design projects successfully from concept to construction, coordinating all stages and all aspects of a project.
- Collaborate with master planners, urban planners, architects, engineers and interior designers as required to develop landscape design solutions and gain client approval.
- Organise day-to-day design, production, documentation works and coordinate the contract administration of the projects.
- Ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with technical and contractual terms of the project contract.
- Develops design solutions, high-quality presentation drawings, and technical packages from concept design, through design development, final design to tender and contract documentation
- Interact and coordinate with clients, stakeholders and consultants; prepare reports and presentations and attend meetings as necessary.
- Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed and required approvals are obtained during design development and drawing and documentation production.
- Attend meetings with design team and coordinate with all disciplines involved in projects (e.g. architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical, interior design and landscaping) and perform any administrative role in relation to landscape as required by the contract.
- Assist as required with post-tender contract administration stage, monitor progress of on-site work and resolve any arising issues, coordinating with contractors and clients’ representatives.
- University Degree – Bachelor’s and/or Post Graduate degree – in Landscape Architecture (preferred) or Architecture
- CLA, CMLI or equivalent (preferred)
- ASLA, RIBA or equivalent membership (preferred)
- 10 years’ experience on sizeable landscape design projects
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
