As a Talent Culture Manager, you will be responsible to deliver strategic, added value interventions and act as a business partner to ensure the achievement of the hotel objectives.To lead the operational T & C team in the provision of added value and training excellence that makes the resort a preferred employer whilst demonstrating commercial awareness.What is in it for you:

  • Provide leadership, direction and support to the T&C team in order to increase knowledge and share best practice
  • Develop and drive the T&C Strategy in line with Regional T&C direction and monitor its execution to ensure achievement of the objectives
  • Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on maximizing productivity, devolving T&C responsibilities and building leadership capability through the Executive Committee
  • Ensure free-flowing, two-way communication between property T&C and Regional T&C and internal communications are well planned and coordinated so that colleagues receive relevant and timely messages in an appropriate style and mediumÿ
  • Drive the annual T&C budget process and ensure direct reports? P&Ls are well managed and monitored
  • Propose changes to organizational structures using best practice organizational development principles to provide the most appropriate structure to support future growth
  • Ensure localization initiatives are well communicated and fully supported
  • Consult on workforce planning activities in order to optimize staffing levels, productivity and service standards in the most cost-effective manner
  • Regularly analyze and review T&C statistics to identify trends so that attention can be directed to key issues and resources adjusted accordingly
  • Take responsibility for the recruitment and selection of all colleagues in order to ensure good hiring decisions
  • Ensure the on-boarding process of all colleagues is handled in a professional and positive manner to expedite the settling in period
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of the HRMS and ensure business needs are identified, met and continually reviewed to support productivity and streamlining of processes
  • Conduct the annual T&C Review to ensure adherence to company standards
  • Ensure that employee survey results are communicated, analyzed and action plans are developed and reviewed on a regular basis to improve colleagues? working and living conditions
  • Advise on T&C policy and Bahrain legislative regulations that might impact on working methods to ensure compliance
  • Ensure all activities in the manage performance process are well executed so that colleagues have the opportunity to participate, receive feedback and given opportunities to develop
  • Work closely with other properties in order to identify and transfer relevant talent between the regions
  • Conduct talent reviews on a regular basis to ensure career discussions are taking place in order to identify, nurture and develop a pool of potential talent to meet future workforce needs
  • Regularly coach, mentor and support senior and high potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage retention
  • Agree goals and KPIs of direct reports, provide regular two-way feedback and developmental opportunities to help them be successful in current and future roles
  • Ensure training programs and development opportunities operate at a consistently high standard in order to deliver high quality guest and leadership experiences and embed the Accor/Heartist culture.
  • Liaise closely with Accor Academy to maximize opportunities to place potential talent in the business
  • Initiate and drive regular remuneration surveys and reviews in order to maintain the desired remuneration position in the local area
  • Ensure that accommodation of colleagues is properly managed.ÿ Raise the necessary items required to make the living condition adequate and comfortable.
  • Take charge of the colleagues? engagement activities and spearhead the implementation of team building plans.
  • Spearhead CSR and Planet 21 activities of the resort.
  • Ensure that all public areas for colleagues are well maintained and cleaned.
  • Spearhead the process of uniforms selection and budgeting.
  • Implements the resort?s grooming standards and policies.
  • Manage the colleague?s restaurant operation in coordination with the Cafeteria Kitchen team.
  • Ensure the implementation and management of colleagues? vacation plan and duty roster and management of public holidays and off days are within the policy.
  • Review and implement innovative grading and benefit structures that support being an employer of choice and increase retention
  • Ensure the departure process of colleagues is handled in a professional and positive manner to ensure colleagues leave with a good impression
  • Ensure dismissals are well managed to protect the company and ensure colleagues are treated fairly and consistently and depart with respect and dignityÿYour experience and skills include:
  • Previous experience in a similar function from a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Good leadership with experience in managing a team.
  • Knowledgeable in applicable labor law and legislation
  • Hands on person
  • Fluent in English, local language is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skill
