Job Description
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- From 7 to 10 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Experience in the field of real estate investment and general contracting is a must
- Previous Experience in dealing with contractors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with accounting software, QuickBooks is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
