Sr.Manager/Manager - Electrical/Electronics Design

Overall purpose of the role: The candidate will assume responsibility for product development and innovation for the spare parts related to various types of Industrial machinery product range. He / she will be a part of the management team to give input to related business decisions.Strategic responsibility for new product development and improving the current products. The candidate is expected to work closely with the product engineering team to achieve desired field results. Skills and Proficiency 

• Designing and developing high voltage – low power systems. The candidate should be proficient in designing and developing high voltage systems, including electrical and mechanical components, to ensure that they meet the desired specifications and requirements.
• Developing and designing automation systems to meet customer requirements. This includes defining the scope, requirements, and specifications of the automation system. Designing the hardware and software components that will be used.
• Sound fundamental electrical and electronics hardware and software knowledge.
• Basic understanding of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning)
• Knowledge about advanced electronic design and solutions
• Design and proof of concept of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Understanding of machine automation, as a process

• Project management: Coordinating with design, engineering, operations, and applications team to finalise BOM (Bill of materials) and ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards
• Process improvement: Continuously improving the process to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve quality. This includes reviewing the relevant process, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary change
• Conducting research and development: Conduct research and development to improve existing systems and to develop new technologies
• Cost management: Managing the budget, including tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring that projects are completed within the allocated budget
• Compliance management: Ensuring that the design engineering projects are compliant with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies
• Support, comply and ensure the Health & Safety regulations, quality and environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures

• BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering
