Job Title: Full Time Banking Specialist Company: Any Location: Johor, Johor, Malaysia Job Type: Full Time Sector: Accounting / Finance Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Flexible, Office hours Job Description: As a Full Time Banking Specialist at Company Any, you will be responsible for overseeing all banking activities within the organization. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the banking industry. You will be based at our office in Johor, Johor, Malaysia and will work closely with the finance team to ensure the smooth functioning of our financial operations. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct daily banking activities including but not limited to cash deposits, withdrawals, and account reconciliation. 2. Monitor and manage bank accounts to ensure adequate funds are available for company operations. 3. Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers, ensuring accuracy of information and adherence to banking regulations. 4. Establish and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and relevant stakeholders. 5. Prepare and submit all necessary documentation to open and close bank accounts as required. 6. Monitor and analyze bank fees and charges, ensuring compliance with banking agreements and negotiating for better terms when necessary. 7. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement efficient banking procedures and controls. 8. Stay updated on banking regulations, industry trends, and best practices. 9. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. 10. Conduct regular audits and internal reviews of banking processes to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues. 11. Provide support during external audits or regulatory inspections. 12. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as required. 13. Handle any other ad hoc accounting or finance duties as assigned by the management. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. Proven work experience as a Banking Specialist or similar role, preferably in a corporate or financial setting. 3. Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, and industry practices. 4. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. 5. Proficient in the use of banking software and Microsoft Office suite. 6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 7. Strong organizational and time management skills. 8. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. 9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 11. Proactive problem solver with the ability to think critically. 12. Familiarity with Malaysian banking regulations and practices is a plus.
