N Position Type Management POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to Senior Director, Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning, the Director, Financial Analysis (Loyalty Partnerships) will provide critical financial advisory and modelling support to internal business partners at Enterprise Partnerships who are driving the development of key loyalty partnerships in APAC. The ideal candidate is well-versed in loyalty analysis, in evaluating business cases, in financial modelling, and in effective communication of complex analysis outcomes. He / She appreciates both the commercial and investment merits of a project, can think laterally, and is comfortable liaising with business partners/stakeholders at both the regional and headquarter levels. He / She will be part of a team of financial advisory professionals and is expected to add to its diverse analytical capabilities and help with expanding its portfolio of analysis mandates within the Marriott universe over time. EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Support Enterprise Partnerships on the financial evaluation of potential airline partnerships, co-brand card initiatives and every day earn partnership initiatives,being responsible for the relevant financial modelling / analysis and day-to-day communications with the Enterprise Partnerships team, delivering robust recommendations which support on critical decision making and negotiation points
  • Present and communicate financial evaluation outcomes (as part of business cases) and effectively walk through the financial model to Enterprise Partnership and Loyalty teams at both Continent and Global levels, working with Senior Director, Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning to achieve stakeholder alignment on the final financial recommendation whilst providing value-added inputs throughout the process
  • Support with post launch deep dive financial analysis for strategic partnerships to provide decision support for driving performance and partnership optimization
  • Develop good rapport with Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning team members, generate ideas during team planning meetings, and participate in regular team project updates
CANDIDATE PROFILE Key Talents and Experience
  • 7 - 10 years’ work experience including complex data analysis and financial modelling
  • Experience in loyalty programs / loyalty financial analysis / enterprise partnerships evaluations strongly preferred. Experience in hospitality / airline / financial sector a plus
  • Experience in writing data queries to pull raw data for deep dive analysis would be an advantage. This could include tools such as sequel etc.
  • Solid presentation skills including the ability to present complex ideas concisely
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: able to maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders without sacrificing independence of advice / inputs
  • Strong advisory skillset: able to develop fact-based analysis, stand by recommendations with conviction, communicate them effectively, whilst incorporating feedback from stakeholders
  • Mental agility: has a mindset that can connect the technical details to the big picture, and evidences an ability to think out of the box rather than being confined by convention
Education and Professional Certification
  • Baccalaureate degree in Finance and/or Marketing preferred
  • MBA or Masters’ degree in Finance and/or Marketing a plus
  • Other education backgrounds also welcome if relevance to the role can be demonstrated
