Head of Data Science at Relab Lead Innovation in Real Estate Technology Are you a data science rockstar who is passionate about making a difference in the real estate industry? If so, we want you to join our team at Relab! We are a fast-growing Kiwi property tech startup headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand. We are looking for an experienced data science leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our data science team and driving the development of our data science products. You will also be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to ensure that our SaaS (Software-as-a-service) products are aligned with our business goals. What You'll Do:
- Lead Advanced Data Initiatives: Drive the creation and implementation of cutting-edge data models such as LLM (Language Models), CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks), and RNN (Recurrent Neural Networks).
- Build Collaborative Solutions: Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to customize data solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Guide the Data Science Lifecycle: Oversee every stage of the data science pipeline, from collection to deployment, ensuring optimal performance and success.
- Foster a Culture of Excellence: Encourage continuous learning and innovation within the team, keeping up with industry advancements.
- Mentor the Next Generation: Provide guidance and support to junior data scientists, helping them grow professionally.
- Seasoned Expertise: 10+ years in data science, including leadership experience and a track record of delivering results.
- Deep Knowledge of Algorithms: Robust understanding of machine learning, particularly LLM, CNN, and RNN.
- Analytical Thinker: Outstanding problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
- Communication Excellence: Impressive written and verbal communication skills.
