The Head of Sales is responsible for ensuring that the sales goals of the company across its assigned regions are achieved. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates and implements effective sales strategies and leads the sales force toward the achievement of corporate sales objectives.
  • Leads and manages the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
  • Manages the end-to-end sales cycle within the assigned solutions and territory/ies, and ensures overall targets are met.
  • Monitor the IT industry, as well as competitive pressures, and use this information to adjust sales strategies and tactics proactively.
  • Sets sales targets and tracks performance against these targets, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepares sales forecasts and budgets, and regularly reviews and prepares a report on sales performance.
  • Monitors and oversees new business pitches / presentations and conducts effective on-boarding of new clients.
  • Establish and implement sales competencies that align with the company's objectives and sales targets.
  • Scopes different companies in various industries, understanding their operations and business needs.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates customer needs on an on-going basis.
  • Collaborates with other departments to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Design and implement competitive and motivating compensation programs and incentive plans to drive sales team performance and reward outstanding achievements.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Works closely with Practice Team/s to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A degree in any business-related course
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge in IT solutions and keeps oneself abreast with the latest digital trends and innovations
  • Must have at least eight (8) years of experience in a similar position, working for an IT services and solutions company.
  • Must have a proven track record in sales in a B2B industry.
  • Experience in channel sales preferred.
  • ERP and NetSuite experience preferred.
